About Kalea DeYoung, CPA, CFO, Financial Advocate

Kalea DeYoung was exposed to public accounting early in life as her father owned a successful CPA practice.  While working at her father’s firm she realized she had a mind for accounting and finance.  In 2002, she graduated from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Accounting. 

In 2003, Kalea decided to start her own CPA firm.  She grew her accounting practice to over 300 clients during the next seven years.  To better serve her clients in 2006 she expanded her services working as a financial advocate to real estate investors and in 2009 she started providing CFO services for Hawaii businesses.

In 2010, a small number of long-term clients requested Kalea to represent them as a part-time CFO and finance manager for both their businesses and personal finances.  This opportunity required Kalea to sell her CPA firm.  Focusing her attention on a smaller client base by giving her clients a more value added service personalized to their individual financial needs brought the opportunity for Kalea to open Savvy CFO Services.

Kalea understands providing personal financial services and business consulting is the backbone to any successful endeavor.  She focuses on educating her clients and supporting them in reaching their financial goals both in their business and personal financial planning.
